Day 1 - Boston, MA
Start your Holidays off with a unique holiday tour; a Stocking Stuffer Tour! We begin the day with a guided tour of Boston learning about Boston’s historic sights, as well as the Christmas traditions of old. There was a time in which celebrating Christmas in Boston was outlawed by the Puritans. Today’s tour will include several stops where you will receive a stocking stuffer item. Some of the stops include: Soluna Garden Farm (they sell hand-blended spices, herbs, and teas) and The Harvard Shop (which sells Harvard souvenirs).
The guided tour ends at Trinity Church where you will delight in a wonderful organ concert that is played on nearly 7,000 pipes (combined from two organs). The beautiful sounds of the organ will certainly lift your spirits.
The light-hearted feeling that you have from the concert may just carry over to a heart-warming lunch at The Black Rose. Serving up pints and traditional fare since 1976, this is Boston’s premier Irish Pub and Restaurant. Your menu will include a choice of Chicken Pot Pie, or Fish and Chips, or Guinness Beef Stew. All entrees come with a Bowl of Clam Chowder, Soft Drink, and Coffee.
End the day at Quincy Market where you will get a few more items to stuff your stocking with (be sure to stop at Musically Yours and Christmas in Boston).
