They will share stories about Harvard’s history and their own personal experiences in the University that they call home. During this tour, we will get to go inside Memorial Hall, which is an historic civil war memorial and one of the most beautiful buildings on Harvard’s campus. We will also get to see and learn about The Massachusetts Hall, The Science Center, Widener Library and much more of Harvard’s fascinating history.
Next up, we will be touring The Massachusetts Institute of Technology or MIT. Like the Harvard Tour, this tour will be conducted by students of the college. We will learn all about the famous alums who walked the same halls you be strolling through. We will also hear all about the history of this prestigious school. Some of the sights we will also see and learn about are Kendell Square, The Stata Center, The Green Building, The Great Dome and many more interesting highlights.
Lunch today will be at the Border Café! The restaurant opened its doors in 1987 in Harvard Square. It’s known for its unique blend of Mexican and Cajun dishes. Our meal today will be served Family Style in a fun experience of “Build your own Tacos and Fajitas”.
After lunch, spend some time in Harvard Square! The Square (as the locals call it) functions as a commercial center for Harvard students, as well as residents of Cambridge. Check out the famous Harvard Book Store, or grab some coffee at a local café. Relax and watch some of the local street performers or do some shopping. The possibilities are endless!
