Itinerary
Day 1 - New York City
Make a stop at Puglia’s for lunch. In 1919, Gregorio Garofalo came over from Italy to begin working on his American dream…He rented a basement, put in his coal stoves, and sprinkled saw dust on the floor. With his knowledge of creating homemade wines, and his passion for cooking, Gregorio’s dream began….The name “Puglia” comes from a region in Southern Italy from which he immigrated. Three generations later, Gregorio’s dream carries on. Choice of entrée: Spaghetti and Meatballs, Spaghetti Marinara, Baked Ziti, Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana, or Chicken Parmigiana. All entrees are served with: Garlic Bread, Mixed Green Salad, Coffee, Tea, Soda, and Dessert.
After lunch head over to Circle Line Cruises for the Liberty Cruise. No other NYC cruise line puts Lady Liberty on a higher pedestal. They will cruise you right on over to the Statue of Liberty so that you can take your picture with her from glorious angles that you just can’t get from dry land. This narrated cruise will also bring you by Ellis Island, and you will see stunning panoramic views of midtown and lower Manhattan.
