Day 1 - Cape Cod, MA
Head off to Cape Cod for a fun filled day!
Leo and Andrea Cakounes operate the largest organic cranberry bog on Cape Cod, located in Harwich, MA. Today we will have a guided tour. Learn about the 12 month operation of a cranberry bog also we will see the equipment and visit with the farm animals! Don’t forget to check out the Farm Stand and gift shop to bring home some yummy cranberry related items!
Lunch today will be at Alberto’s Ristorante located in Hyannis, MA. Choice between: Pork Osso Bucco, Chicken Parmigiana or Scrod. Lunch will also include a salad and dessert.
After lunch, we will head over to Hy-Line Cruises! Today’s scenic cruise will take us through the Cape Cod Canal to the Herring Run. We will hear live commentary about the fascinating history and points of interest!
