Our first stop is a visit to the magnificent Mosque of Hassan II, one of the ten largest in the world that dominates the entire city. The mosque is a treasure trove of artistry decorated with the exquisite work of more than 10,000 master artisans from Morocco. This enormous building can accommodate up to 25,000 people and is the only mosque in the city that non-Muslims are permitted to visit. We will have a guided tour of the mosque and the ablution hall with a local specialist. Before leaving Casablanca we will visit the Old Medina and the New Medina where we will see a maze of Moroccan tradespeople for a taste of authentic residential life.
