Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Krakow, Poland

Upon arriving Krakow, you will be met by your local guide and depart for your City Tour. You will get a chance to see the Town Square, Krakow Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Church and much more. Afterward, we check into our hotel before enjoying a welcome dinner. (D)

Day 2 - Krakow

Following breakfast, we journey to Wawel Hill to see one of the largest castles in Poland, the Wawel Castle. After, visit the final resting place of the Kings of Poland and the former seat of Pope John Paul II, before heading across the former Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz to visit the Ghetto Square in Krakow. A metropolitan area created during the Holocaust to exploit, terrorize and persecute the local Polish Jews within the community.  Use this time to reflect on the past and gain knowledge for future generations.

In the afternoon, you’ll get a chance to see the Oskar Schindler’s Factory Museum as seen in the movie Schindler’s List. Later, we return to our hotel for some down time before heading off to a traditional Polish dinner and show.  (B,D)

Day 3 - Krakow - Wroclaw

Today we say goodbye to Krakow and make our way to Wroclaw. As we make our way, we will make a brief stop in the city of Auschwitz. We continue along the Oder River to our destination, Wroclaw. Take in the brightly colored mansions and the flower markets as we make our way through the city streets to the hotel.

Enjoy some free time to settle in or stroll the streets before enjoying a Beerhaus and traditional Polish dinner. (B,D)

Day 4 - Wroclaw

After breakfast, we head off on our walking City Tour where you will get a chance to explore Wroclaw’s Old Town and view the cycloramic painting depicting the Battle of Raclawice.
Later, we return to the hotel and enjoy and evening at leisure. (B)

Day 5 - Wroclaw - Gdansk

After breakfast, we say farewell to Wroclaw and travel to the Baltic Coast to Gdansk. Along the way we will visit the town of Torun, known for its gingerbread. Take a closer look at the medieval architecture and enjoy a visit to the Museum of Gingerbread.

Afterwards, we make our way through the town of Gdansk, a majestic seaside town, to the European Solidarity Center. (B,D)

Day 6 - Gdansk

Today our day starts with a tour of Gdansk. Visit the Westerplatte, the scene of the first invasion of German troops at the start of World War II. Head to the ship-yard and view two beautiful galleon-styled ships, the Black Pearl and Galleon Lion, before visiting the Amber Museum.

Later we return to the hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 7 - Gdansk - Warsaw

This morning we say goodbye to Gdansk and make our way to Warsaw. Along the way we will visit the Castle of the Teutonic Order. A stunning example of a medieval fortress and the largest brick Gothic castle in the world.

The afternoon is yours to explore the city of Warsaw before dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 8 - Warsaw

After breakfast set off on your City Tour of Warsaw. See the Palace of Culture and the Chopin Monument. Later, visit the Ghetto Heroes Monument and the Historical Museum followed by a walkthrough of Warsaw’s Old Town.

In the afternoon, return to the hotel to relax and freshen up before our farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 9 - Depart Warsaw

Say ‘widzenia’ to Poland after breakfast and transfer to the airport anytime. (B)
