Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Bangor, ME
Arrive in Bangor and make your way to the hotel for checkin. This evening, get together for a meet and greet with your Tour Director.
Day 2 - Bangor - Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
Breakfast is included this morning before we depart for Bar Harbor where we board the CAT and travel over to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Upon arrival we travel a short way to our hotel, the Rodd Grand Yarmouth, located in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The remainder of the evening is on your own. (B)
Day 3 - Yarmouth - Halifax
Breakfast at the Grand and this morning, before we meet our guide and set out along the Eastern Coast of Nova Scotia. There will be special sightseeing stops in Lunenburg, home of the famous Canadian sailing ship Bluenose and also in Peggy’s Cove with its lonely lighthouse and quaint shops as the edge of the sea. Our destination is Halifax for two nights at the Marriott Harbourfront Halifax. Located in the heart of the historical harbor front area. This evening dinner is included at the Waterfront Warehouse. Day 4 - Halifax
Breakfast at the hotel, and then a Halifax City Tour this morning conducted by a guide dressed in a kilt. What else would you expect in Nova Scotia? During our tour we’ll visit the historic Citadel Fortress. Today’s featured attraction is the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo*, where we have reserved Level A seating! This is the largest annual indoor show in the world with over 800 performers. What a spectacle. It’s patriotic, it’s colorful, it’s Royal Canadian from start to finish. The remainder of the day is on your own to explore this exciting city. (B)

Day 5 - Halifax - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
Enjoy breakfast before we check out. The Provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are divided by the Straits of Northumberland. The Canadians simply call it PEI, Canada’s smallest and certainly its greenest province, which is said to have over 50 shades of natural green. Spend two nights in the heart of the Island’s Capital City. A P.E.I. lobster dinner is included on the wharf tonight. Charlottetown is ideal for walking and exploring and our hotel has a perfect location. (B)
Day 6 - Prince Edward Island
Breakfast is included at the hotel, with a morning at leisure. This afternoon an island guide will take us to the home of Anne of Green Gables and the Prince Edward Island National Seashore. In Cavendish, you will learn about famous Prince Edward Island oysters at an oyster talk & taste. Dinner this evening is at Lobster Suppers in New Glasgow. (B,D)
Day 7 - Charlottetown - Bangor
We depart after breakfast and will cross the Confederation Bridge from P.E.I. to Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick. This ocean bridge is an engineering marvel. Our travels will take us to the city of Fredericton and along the scenic Saint John River Valley. After lunch, on own, we will stop at Duty Free before crossing back into the United States. After checking into our hotel in Bangor, the remainder of the evening is at leisure. (B)
Day 8 - Depart Acadia National Park
Breakfast in Bangor this morning before we head into Bar Harbor and catch the guided trolley ride to Acadia National Park. We will have a scenic morning ride up to Acadia. We will have some free time to shop in this beautiful seaside town before heading into Acadia National Park. Stop at the top of Cadillac Mountain, the National Park Nature Center at Sieur de Mont Springs and see the pounding surf at scenic Thunder Hole. After lunch, on own, we will depart for home. (B)
